Delving into the wind industry right out of high school, Jordan Bielefeld has applied his knowledge and expertise to spearheading UpTower, Inc., a wind turbine service provider, in 2019. For the past three years, he has excelled as vice president of renewable operations, in which he contracts services for wind turbines around the United States, from maintenance to preventive services, parts installations and more. He attributes his success up to this point to his family, especially his wife, for being a constant support system.
Mr. Bielefeld launched his career by joining Outland Energy Services as a technician in 2008 and was quickly promoted to lead technician. In 2010, he became a project manager and then advanced to an account manager. The company, equipped with a solid operation teams, was then acquired by Duke Energy. Subsequently, Mr. Bielefeld began working for Duke Energy as an operations supervisor; while leading many operation projects and teams, he was also leading Asset management by becoming an operations manager in 2015. He served operations and business development until 2019 when he left to start his current company, UpTower, Inc.
Looking ahead, Mr. Bielefeld’s main goal is to help his children become good people through supporting their own success and also encouraging them to contribute to their communities. He also plans to continue to grow his company with quality and safety at the forefront of their minds to eventually become the best in the industry.
